Whole school ethos

This module helped lead and general mentors, as well as middle and senior leaders, to understand the importance of school or provision ethos and how this can impact behaviours, relationships and ultimately learning.

 

The aims of this module were to: 

• Understand what is meant by the term 'ethos' in educational settings
• Reflect on how ethos is both established and sustained
• Consider how mentees can be introduced to the ethos of a provision or school, and how they can be welcomed and encouraged to be supportive of this ethos.
