Business Skills for Adult Social Care - Governance and Regulation
A one-day CPD module delivered by Centra Training

Holders of the Business Governance and Regulation badge have completed a one-day, face-to-face course for managers in adult social care. They have shown an understanding of the legislation, regulation and governance structures that underpin safe, well-led services. They can explain the duty of candour and the responsibilities of key regulated roles, evaluate internal governance arrangements, and describe the CQC registration and inspection process and the manager's role within it.

Overview

Business Governance and Regulation explores what good governance and regulation look like in adult social care, why these structures matter, and how managers lead, achieve and maintain them in their own services. The course is highly interactive. Learners research and present on key areas of legislation, analyse real CQC inspection reports, and take part in practical activities that link learning directly to their own role and workplace.
