Overview

Holders of the Lead to Succeed badge have completed Skills for Care’s leadership development programme for aspiring managers and deputies in adult social care. Over five interactive modules, they have explored what it means to become a leader, developed successful leadership behaviours, and learned practical strategies for building a positive culture, supervising and coaching staff, and leading their service through inspection. They are reflective, confident emerging leaders, ready to take the next step in their management career. The programme supports progression on the national Care Workforce Pathway, from supervisor or leader to deputy manager and towards registered manager.
