About this credential
This badge recognises a clear understanding of what digital badges are and why they can be trusted. Earners can explain what a badge contains (issuer, criteria, evidence and expiry), how the Open Badges standard and verifiable credentials work, and how badges differ from certificates, micro-credentials and qualifications. It is the first of three badges in the Digital Badge Practitioner pathway from Certify Academy.
