About this credential

This badge recognises the ability to design a credible digital badge programme. Earners can match badge use cases to organisational goals, write criteria that cover activity, assessment and standard, choose appropriate evidence, structure badges into levels, stacks and pathways, and set simple governance rules for approving, issuing, renewing and withdrawing badges. It is the second of three badges in the Digital Badge Practitioner pathway from Certify Academy.

Earning Criteria

To earn this badge, participants:

Completed four lessons on badge use cases, writing criteria and choosing evidence, levels, stacking and pathways, and badge naming, design and governance
Designed a complete badge for their own organisation, covering its goal, name, description, criteria, evidence, expiry, structure, visual brief and governance, and submitted it using the Certify Academy template
Passed the Module 02 assessment with a score of 80% or above
