With over 25 years of experience in international development, I am a passionate and effective leader who strives to empower women and improve food security through inclusive and sustainable agriculture. My last assignment was as Country Director of MEDA in the Philippines, where I managed a CAD6-million project that works with women farmers, cooperatives, and private sectors in the cacao value chain in Davao and BARMM regions.
I have a PhD in Leadership and Management and a CDPM certification, which equip me with the skills and knowledge to design, implement, and monitor complex and high-impact projects. I have successfully managed several projects funded by GAC, USAID, DFID, EC, and other donors in post-conflict countries such as Myanmar, Afghanistan, Bosnia, and Eritrea. I have also established strong partnerships with local organizations, businesses, and government agencies, and developed effective systems for finance, administration, HR, and M&E. My specialization includes economic development, microfinance, market systems, and gender mainstreaming.
