This introductory module drew upon current advice and research-informed evidence to support mentors in being confident with explaining and modelling behaviour management in their setting. We specifically focused on an inclusive classroom and how unwanted behaviours can be well managed in any provision.

 

The aims of this module were to:

  • Understand the most effective ways to support trainees in developing appropriate behaviour management techniques
  • Reflect on key areas of behaviour management that trainee teachers often find most challenging or where early guidance is most effective
  • Consider relevant policies, frameworks and reading that trainees and their mentors should be aware of.

Earning Criteria

Awarded for passing the end of module test of the online/mobile course Inclusion: behaviour.
