Mentors regularly support mentees in cross-curricular areas. Lead and general mentors benefited most from this module, which aimed to increase awareness of content around some of the statutory curriculum subjects across all stages and phases.
The aims of this module were to:
- Engage with the curriculum content for wider curriculum subjects such as PSHE and RSE
- Revisit concepts around successful pastoral care by mentees, based on research-informed evidence and good practice shared by expert colleagues
- Emphasise the importance of cross-curricular collaboration across a setting and acknowledge the benefits this has for pupils and teachers.
