Rosenshine in Practice

This course explores Rosenshine's ten principles of instruction and is designed to help teachers tailor each to their classroom and their pupils' needs. Based on cognitive science, observation of effective teachers and an understanding of learning strategies, Rosenshine's principles can help inform teachers in their curriculum delivery and teaching practice. Rosenshine in Practice outlines the fundamentals of direct instruction, cognitive science and memory, and then explores each guiding principle in turn.
