Preparing for Ofsted

This course is an in-depth and useful tool for governors and trustees outlining how to prepare for an Ofsted inspection. It explains what inspectors look for and how they make their judgements, with particular reference to the key role governors play in the effectiveness of leadership, management and learning in early years settings, schools and sixth forms. Building on information and criteria from Ofsted's section 5 and section 8 handbooks, governors and trustees can better understand the inspection process and learn what they can do to help improve their schools.
