Organised by the London Marathon Events team, the Big Half covers a 13.1-mile flat route that starts at Tower Bridge and finishes at the iconic Cutty Sark in Greenwich. Runners pass through four dynamic London boroughs, Tower Hamlets, Southwark, Lewisham, and Greenwich each offering a unique atmosphere filled with local support, music, and celebration.
Each digital badge and certificate awarded by Abigail’s Footsteps represents real dedication, effort, and impact.
To earn their credential, recipients:
- Took on a physical challenge event such as a half marathon, Ironman, or community run.
- Met or exceeded their minimum fundraising pledge of £500, helping us support bereaved families across the UK.
- Committed to weeks or months of training, fundraising outreach, and advocacy for our cause.
- Completed their event and submitted their fundraising totals, verified by our team.
These credentials are more than just digital awards, they’re a symbol of compassion, resilience, and community spirit. Recipients can share them on LinkedIn, social media, or download them as a PDF to showcase their achievement and inspire others.
