Safeguarding

Safeguarding is a crucial part of your role as a teacher. This module introduces you to what safeguarding is, ahead of the safeguarding and child protection training you’ll do in school. You’ll familiarise yourself with your responsibilities along with key government guidance, and consider signs that might indicate something is not quite right for a child. The main messages are to become familiar with your school’s safeguarding policy and to report any concerns you may have.
