The Race to the Stones forms part of the Threshold Trail Series and is considered one of the UK’s most iconic endurance events.
Participants run along The Ridgeway, Britain’s oldest path, finishing at the historic Avebury Standing Stones.
The event offers options to complete the 100km distance in one go or split it over two days with an overnight stay at basecamp.
Every digital credential awarded by Abigail’s Footsteps represents a meaningful journey of dedication, effort, and impact. Here's what our fundraisers did to earn theirs:
- Accepted a physical challenge — from half marathons to Ironman events, each participant committed to a demanding endurance goal.
- Reached a minimum fundraising pledge typically £350 or more, which contributes directly to supporting bereaved families across the UK.
- Set up and promoted their fundraising page using the official JustGiving link.
These credentials are more than just digital badges they’re a symbol of compassion, resilience, and community spirit. Recipients can add them to their LinkedIn profile, share them on social media, download them as a PDF to print and display.
