Unconscious bias awareness is vital to successful learning and teaching. This module supported mentors in their own awareness of this area and equip them to support and inform their mentees.
The aims of this module were to:
- Understand what unconscious bias is
- Consider how to inform mentees about the connotations of unconscious bias and the impact that this can have
- Reflect on how unconscious bias can impact behaviour management, pastoral care and inclusive approaches to education.

Awarded for passing the end of module test of the online/mobile course Unconscious bias.
