Promoting Inclusion

This course helps teachers to raise the achievement of vulnerable learners through inclusive pedagogy. Darren Martindale, Virtual School Head for Wolverhampton, discusses the issues around exclusions and challenging behaviour. He outlines the key principles for engaging hard-to-reach pupils and recommends intervention strategies to help improve attendance, raise the attainment of disadvantaged pupils and reduce exclusions. It will also help schools to plan their Pupil Premium use effectively.
