Understanding Autism

This course provides information about autism, the different ways it affects people and practical strategies to support the challenges people on the autism spectrum experience. It explores how people on the autism spectrum experience social communication, repetitive behaviours and sensory differences. It also provides information on getting an autism diagnosis and links to useful resources. Through a greater understanding of autism, professionals and families alike can promote inclusion and help people on the autism spectrum to utilise their unique strengths.
