Mentors will be equipped to inform their mentees about varying school contexts, educational settings and the relevant behaviours and adaptations that may be made or observed across different schools or provisions.

 

The aims of this module were to:

  • Raise awareness of the range of educational contexts in which novice teachers may gain experience
  • Consider how mentor and mentee behaviour may adapt according to the context of a setting
  • Consider similarities between settings and reflect on what schools or settings can learn from each other.
